LifePath is pleased to announce the hiring of its next Chief Executive Officer

Susan Leyburn

LifePath, serving individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Lehigh Valley and Southeastern Pennsylvania regions, has chosen Susan Leyburn to replace its retiring executive, Paul Coleman.

Susan most recently served as Chief Program Officer for KidsPeace, overseeing a $127M operating budget as well as a free-standing psychiatric hospital, foster care and community programs, outpatient clinics and residential programs in three states with a workforce of over 2,000 employees. She began her career in the field as a group home supervisor for LifePath and advanced to the role of Director during her 16-year tenure at the organization.

“Our Board is delighted to have identified Susan Leyburn as our next CEO,” say Board President Kaj Karch and Transition Committee Chair Mark Angeny. “Susan’s long experience with LifePath and other nonprofits makes her uniquely qualified to preserve and enhance the LifePath mission. Our search process led to an excellent choice among many outstanding candidates. We are also thankful for the extraordinary work and leadership of Paul Coleman, as he retires from the CEO role.”

“It is an honor to become the CEO of this amazing, passionate organization and to join the more than 750 talented and caring employees dedicated to the LifePath mission,” Susan adds.

Susan will begin assuming her new duties in mid-July.

Please join us in congratulating Susan, and wishing her much success in achieving our mission.
